First off, you put together a lovely tutorial! Like the others have said it is very useful and explanatory so thank you so much! I really like the colors you used, like making black hair and cool red accents. I especially like the shadowing on the coral in her hair.
I would've never thought of using that stock photo for an underwater scene, and that was pretty original. I think the pose you chose to paint and your other details made a very sweet piece!
I gave the Originality 3.5 stars just because there are many underwater scenes of women so the fish and star fish aren't new, but the coral and bracelet are nice and fresh. The stripes on her face are, too!
I think the fish is in a good pose and is positioned well by the lady and really the only thing I see to criticize is that I can't really tell how far it is away from her. My depth perception is telling me that it should be far away, but it's in front of her hair so it must be close. Maybe you could have less shadow on his belly? I'm not sure.
This is a great piece, as always, =sanguisGelidus!
As far as vision goes! This is a wonderfull and well thought out tutorial that will help both beginers, and newcomer's both, a great deal i would think. The instruction's are so simple and easy to unserstand that even the fish would be able to follow them As for originality i'm in favour of full marks because, as JJmyster22 said, there are many tutorial's on this subject but, it is the sheer simplistic and well presented accompaniment of the step by step art that makes this above many other's. The technique i cannot falter as there is nothing to fault; it's all perfect (in my opinion anyway's ). As for impact! Impact is about both the mental and visual effect something will give to a person. By what i have typed here you can tell that it had mental impact upon me, and though visually i like images to have a little more strength in colour this is enough to sustain rememberance in my (or anyone els'e for that matter) mind for some time...longer than the fishes mind at least It get's a from me. Thankyou and well done !
