I am currently selling a Fantasy Art Calendar for 2013 here on dA! If you want have a look here: [link]
It is said that in the last second of life, with the last glimpse when facing death, you can see the dark taking over, swallowing the bright colors of life.

Another traditional painting, this time a darker theme.. I liked the idea of conveying dark emotions with bright, kinda psychedelic colors. It has much symbolism, but I dont want to reveal too much, I think its always good, if the viewer can imagine an own story!
Hope you like it!
Thank you soo much for your support, I am so overwhelmed with all the love I receive from you! Thank you!

Painted with watercolors, markers and white gel-pencil!
I must first add that I'm not usually into art of this kind.
This piece though, as it appeared on my front page (without any in depth-searching across the site; sometimes I'm a lazy bastard ) managed to capture my attention for a longer while.
You have made fantastic use of different colors in the iris (well, I am horrible in blending together colors in a neat way, but I certainly can tell you've done this extra carefully) and the eye with its' shadowing looks very realistic.
To be all serious, there isn't much negative to say about this. If I'd really point out something tiny though, it might be the theme of death (as the deviation's name is "Facing Death"). Personally I would depict this with kind of more sad/dark colors in the iris, but, this is of course a matter of opinion and it's how YOU depict it...
Saying that it's all "too colorful" would still seem atrocious because on the other hand, again, you did excellent job with the colors and all, so basically it is at its' peak like this.
To summarize; you're really talented (well pretty obvious )
This is beautiful. here's some of the good things : 1) I think leaving your supplies at the edge adds a great effect, adds to this beautiful, great picture! 2) Looks very realistic, and the several lines under the eye add to it as well! Now, here's some other things. 1) You could make the eye veins (I think that is what they are called) a bit more visable. 2) In the cornea, the colours clash a bit. But this picture is very good, and I can tell you put a lot of effort into this. Looking forward to more! Shi
ugh <3 the highlights on this one are so beautiful! just perfect. although the eyebrow look kind of off. but i love this one so much, just beautiful. the skull is very cool, and the concept of it is made into something completely unique just because of that little skull.
Wow this is just absolutely amazing. It made me wonder: wouldn't it be amazing if each and every person had a unique eye color or mixture of colors? I think that would be so awesome and cool.
This is actually amazing! I watched the sped-up video for this and was truly inspired :3 I love drawing eyes and seeing every piece of work you do is just amazing!! After seeing your video, I drew this from being inspired with your work: [link] I've given you credit and said that I got the idea from you, and I hope one day I can be as good as you!! Even though I draw, not paint!! ;3 Sorry if that sounded a bit too soppy, but I just love your work!
