This artwork is just extraordinary! I love the color choices and the lighting. The griffin's pose is classic; proud and majestic. I also like how you added the bird, it gives the whole thing a great touch, kind of like the cherry on top of the sundae. The griffin's expression is great, nice and neutral-looking, while still having that whole awed impact. Back on the colors, I like the whole cold-colored theme for the landscape, and the sky is nice and bright. The rocks are done very well, and great job using the shading. I love griffins, and this is one of the best pieces yet!
Incredible. It is such a beautiful creature, so proud and strong. The wings give the image of speed and show the strength and honour in this fair being. The tail is so long, making it easier to fly I imagine, and it gives it a side of grace. I have to say, though, those three feathers are much too big. You could extend the wings with more and more little feathers and make the joint they are extending from a bit thicker, it would look more realistic. The joints you have now look as if, in a strong storm, they might brake under too much wind pressure and would not be able to hold the griffon up more then an hour or two... The little bird gives this a bit of comedy, showing the surprise of how they are related. Sizing them up between each other would make the griffin the size of a small horse, or the bird the size of a chihuahua because I imagine griffins are huge, but that could be my imagination as I love large mythical creatures. The mountain is wonderful. Ice reaching up to spear the griffin is a strong indication that it lives far north or far south. I agree with the lighting if that is the case, as the Northern Lights are so many magnificent colours. There are some pinks, but in this case, you didn't need them. To be in the clouds shows the griffin lives at a hight altitude. Very appropriate for a flying creature. I love how you planned this out, but the wings need a bit of improvement, for a feather of that size would not fit on the stem of the wing.
This is my iPod wallpaper haha It was funny... my friend saw it and she really liked it. One of my other friends also has your work as their facebook banner. Hah my friends loooooove fantasy art. ...not as much as me though xD
I love it when I find an artist that makes me yearn for something. You are one of those. I want so badly to meet this amazingly beautiful creatures. I imagine feeling so peaceful just standing there beside it. A lot of your images make me feel like this. I hope I'm making sense and not sounding too weird -_-' lol. Anyways beautiful images, all of them.
The colors are beautiful! Especially the bird which is more colorfully than the other objects. The lights are also really beautiful. It looks like a dream or a story that comes to life!
