Another experiment, in which I tried to convert a daytime picture by me into a night scene! ^^ I also tried to make some kind of 3 Dimensional effect! I hope I succeeded, this took quite a time (not only some simple filters.. xD). Hope you like this little experiment!
Did saw the daylight version. I must say: this is much better. You know everything in the forest only lives when the night falls. I love San, you've already known that ^^. The trees behind both of them is like somekind of mystery that no one can explain. Her eyes is...uhm...red, which shows the "Mononoke" spirit in her, and the blue sapphire...blue sapphire??? *scratch head* that's weird...about the wolf, I like him too :3 But it makes me scare...is it gonna bite me?...Okay, funny talking is over. Well I'm not good at PS like you, but I can hardly master this part. Whatever you're doing, I have one word to say "WOW!" This picture is terrific, but I think San's necklace is missing something. And the wolf, you should take care of the eyes. It's not him, it's his eyes that make people scare. I guess you can figure out how to do that, right? Great work. PM me if you have anything to ask about this horrible critique, ok?
I believe all that work is worth it. All that matters is that you strive and thrive making this work. This individual piece itself is no Picasso but it does surpass my definition of "good". In my eyes this easily impresses people because of the brush work, what ever you used you didn't fail to put the impact on her eyes as well as the wolfs'. it simply drew me into the picture. Keep on and try not to add to much depth to just the eyes. IT WILL help if you did add more ephasis on the necklace, as others have said, as you did before! KEEP IT UP!!
Wow this looks great! I actually had the original as my desktop background and I loved it of course, but there were a few things that bothered me the more I looked at it. I didn't think some of the colors (like the deep blue of the wolf's eyes) were distributed enough and I didn't think the picture looked as unified. Now I think this piece is improved! The original is quite beautiful as well though.
