I thought I should turn my Lapras painting into a Pokedex-entry, too, to make it all more consistent! ^^ Hope you like it! :heart: (And now you know, why I drew my Lapras with whiskers and antennae! :D + I added the ice type, that was requested ^^)

The way it shows a form of realism makes me think that it is possible to find Lapras out in the depths of the sea where the colossal squid live. I just love the detail on the shell and face. The way the mouth slightly opens with the whiskers kind of moving back from the face reminds me of a very, very strong but kind grandmother who loves you so much and gives you advice when you ask for it. The only thing is that the background could have had a bit more detail depicting the environment, otherwise, it's awesome :D

I really enjoy this piece. The body design is suited for the deap lake/deep ocean habitat, and the jagged rock formations on the shell also look like ice, and add to that effect. I especially love the gentle-giant aura I get from the Lapras itself and feel reassured by the description, lol. The antennae and small eye combination was creative and well thought out. I appreciate how it has deep sea turtle characteristics about it in the picture that are also described in the additional info. The description displays a wide vocabulary, which is something nice to see as well. I like how everything in the picture is backed by the description. The smaller creatures that accompany the image of the Lapras help describe the enormity of it and give me a good picture of its size compared to other creatures. I appreciate that they are Mantines and the other Pokémon's name escapes me, who are also designed after deep-sea creatures; it helps display the habitat. The shadows are well rendered; as if it's caught in a ray of sunlight reflecting into the ocean. My only concern is the background; it's a bit bland compared to the majesty of the creature in the foreground. Maybe a background of its main habitat/area to show where it lives. Other than that, I really, really love this piece. You did a magnificent job :)

Despite them being gentle creatures, I wouldn't want to meet one under the sea. ;u; It would scare me half to death.

Great rendition of it. I like how you painted it, Goldeen, Remoraid, and Mantine. The details are amazing too. I especially like Lapras's encrusted shell.
