As requested, a spirited Away Wallpaper version. :) The other one was only downloadable as PSD file and it was hard to set it as a wallpaper, so this time it is in JPEG format! Plus I overworked it a bit! :D

First off, I'd have to say that this is one of the greatest pieces of artwork I've seen in a long time! Fantastic job on this! One of the first things that caught my eye was how realistic it all looked. The shading and anatomy stands out in a realistic way while the overall feel of the piece still rings with it's cartoon-like sense.
Haku's face is also one of the things that really drew me in. It is just indescribably perfect. The blue in Chihiro's eyes really stands out. I think it is a nice addition, but it sort of takes over in a way. If it was just a little bit lower in brightness, it would look even better.
The pattern on Chihiro's dress didn't quite stand out at first, but it is one of those fantastic details that hide in a way. I love it just like that.
The concept of Chihiro looking more Chinese than Japanese didn't occur to me at all before I looked at some of the other critiques. It is true, but it's not one of those little details I would complain too much about.
Over all, what really makes this an inspiring piece is the way you used the shading to create in-depth textures. It is one of those things that many artist struggle to do and I think you preformed that skill perfectly.
The slow change of colours in the background (from blue to the nice glowing orange) is a well put transition. The detail on the moon is mind blowing.
The background, however didn't stand out too much and I think that's because of the brightness of the foreground. I'm sort of neutral with whether that's good or bad, but I really think that since they are the main focus of the piece, making them brighter than everything else is a nice touch.
Overall, an inspiring piece of art. (When I showed it to my brother, his jaw actually dropped XP) There is so much more I loved that I could talk about, but this critique is getting sort of long...
Thank you for making this. It is truly an amazing pleasure to the eye. Never stop what you are doing.
