I just wanted to say thank you for the awesome almost 3 1/2 years here on dA. Deviantart has truely become a part of my life, which I don't want to miss. You guys actually showed me, that I can achieve something with my passion, which has always been art, since I can remember. I appreciate everyone of you, my watchers, so much and I cannot believe there are actually almost 30,000 of you now. It is just incredible and unbelievable! And I reached the 400,000 pageviews today, which is also a huge milestone for me. Thank you for everything! You make my dreams become true!

And also a merry Christmas to everyone of you! I hope you have a great time with your beloved ones and enjoy the atmosphere of these wonderful days! May your wishes come true!

Going Away To College.Got my college acceptance letter! I'm going to college at WCU (Western) and I'm rooming with my best friend!! Doesn't get better than that shit! c:
First choice college and I got in and...jerg;org meeps!! I was afraid my SAT scores wouldn't be high enough but they were some how and everything is great and dandy and my boyfriend, Rob, who I have yet to tell you guys about is with me this whole week and I am a freaking ball of happiness right now!!

Special Artist Feature

Now it's time for a superfine art feature

I'll introduce you to a person who is very special to me. I know her for a very long time now and she is the main reason why I've started to draw animals. I have to admit, thanks to our very similar mindsets and interests, I call her a soulmate. Out of all artists I know, she is my biggest inspiration. Yes, ~MorningsunManedWolf, I am talking about you!

I just love her art. To be honest, I envy her. The way she draws animals is amazing! The poses, the perspectives, the facial expressions and the anatomy, everything looks so naturally, superb and nice in her style! In a very short amount of time she is able to draw very beautiful pictures. She is patient enough to make stunning animstions, even traditionally! And let me say in the beginning: Wow, my watchers have a lot lot of talent and awesome ideas! Many pictures made me smile or even laugh and there were many amazing entries, but only 5 could win... so please dont be disappointed if you arent a winner. I hope it was fun for you as well!

Too bad I didn't win but it was fun nonetheless! And those pictures there do talk about their technique so I shouldn't be surprised they won. Congratulations!

Maybe next time if you do another contest like this, you could specify that the drawings have to be submitted through Muro as a regular deviation, not on the journal, that way you could link them. For now we can search for their names on your journal
