Hello....thar....Okay so I haven't updated in a while...a long while... I actually haven't drawn in ages either...Its too hot here and I've been so busy T3T I can only draw when I'm nice and comfy and I hate the heat! Which doesn't really make sense since I kinda came from a very very hot place. Oh well...

This is another long one, and I apologize but I need to speak my mind. This journal is in response to the "righteously indignant" users making a fuss about me "selling" fanart of copyrighted characters in my recent Adventure Time post. To the person who signed up today just to write a nasty comment on my new Society6 page. To the person who flagged my recent Adventure Time illustration on DA and then proceeded to send me an e-mail about doing it (probably the same person). To the people creating multiple accounts to try and dissuade users from spending their money how they see fit. And to a long list of people who follow everything I do post just to make sure that their negative voice and attitude are the first voices anyone ever sees on all of my work.

Controversial OpinionsYou know, sometimes having opinions can make you feel like no one else shares your views, especially if your views aren't being widely vocalized around you. Case in point: It's just been announced that J.J.Abrams will be directing Star Wars 7, and the internet is raging with butthurt about how shitty Abrams is, making over abundant lens flare jokes, and bemoaning the reboot of Star Trek in the process.
Thing is... I like J.J.Abrams. I liked LOST (despite it's shitty/rushed ending). I liked Super 8. I liked Cloverfield. I even enjoyed the recent Star Trek reboot and am looking forward to the sequel. I never had a problem with lens flares or noticed them being over used. And I think overall Abrams has made a fairly consistent batch of quality movies, which is a amazing considering how many directors flip flop between great and shitty.
But I can't often come right out and say that sort of thing because when I do I get attacked for having an opinion that runs counter to the vast majority o

Going Away To College.Got my college acceptance letter! I'm going to college at WCU (Western) and I'm rooming with my best friend!! Doesn't get better than that shit! c:
First choice college and I got in and...jerg;org meeps!! I was afraid my SAT scores wouldn't be high enough but they were some how and everything is great and dandy and my boyfriend, Rob, who I have yet to tell you guys about is with me this whole week and I am a freaking ball of happiness right now!!

Special Artist Feature

Now it's time for a superfine art feature

I'll introduce you to a person who is very special to me. I know her for a very long time now and she is the main reason why I've started to draw animals. I have to admit, thanks to our very similar mindsets and interests, I call her a soulmate. Out of all artists I know, she is my biggest inspiration. Yes, ~MorningsunManedWolf, I am talking about you!

I just love her art. To be honest, I envy her. The way she draws animals is amazing! The poses, the perspectives, the facial expressions and the anatomy, everything looks so naturally, superb and nice in her style! Hey!

I just wanted to say thank you for the awesome almost 3 1/2 years here on dA. Deviantart has truely become a part of my life, which I don't want to miss. You guys actually showed me, that I can achieve something with my passion, which has always been art, since I can remember. I appreciate everyone of you, my watchers, so much and I cannot believe there are actually almost 30,000 of you now. It is just incredible and unbelievable! And I reached the 400,000 pageviews today, which is also a huge milestone for me. Thank you for everything! You make my dreams become true!

And also a merry Christmas to everyone of you! I hope you have a great time with your beloved ones and enjoy the atmosphere of these wonderful days! May your wishes come true!
