Soo, I decided to do a little dA muro drawing contest. 5 Winners will each receive 200 dA points and will be featured by me in a journal!!
It takes only a very short time to join the contest!! Just do the following:
1. + FAV this journal
2. Write a comment under this journal with your muro drawing attached!
The entries will be judged on the overall impact/creativity (it can be funny, scary, cute, cool, whatever..), you dont need to be a hyper skilled artist to win here! You can draw whatever you want, it can be a doodle or a masterwork! Every work is accepted! You can make as many entries as you like to! :3
Ask your friends to join this little contest! The more people join, the more fun it will be!
Deadline: One day after I posted this journal!
Want to see YOUR favourite Pokemon drawn by me? :DWell, then you should commission me!!
That's right, I am open for Pokemon-commissions now. I decided not only to draw your favourite Pokemon, but also to feature one of your pictures in the description, which will be viewed by thousands of people! I wont take too many commissions by now (about 3 or so), so better get your offer now!
There are two possible commission-types:
You tell me, which Pokemon I should create a Pokedex-entry for and you can also tell me, if I should include some specific information or features etc. The price is set to 120-170 USD (depending on complexity), as these kinds of pictures cost me a lot lot of time and work! If you want me to include other Pokemon in the background (like other evolutions or other little Pokemon) it will add to the price.

I just wanted to say thank you to all the people that support me here on DeviantArt. When i created my profil about 10 month ago i never thought that so many people would like my work. This really encourages me to take even more photos. I love to hold contests, feature people and browse through amazing pieces of art, there are so many great things to do.
In this 10 month i got my first DD and even earned money with my photography. For me all that is just so...unbelieveable

Contest!!!Hello all of my lovely Everlasting Snowflakes! IT'S CONTEST TIME!
Since I have finished one of my projects, here is the contest that I promised!
All right. So, I'm really missing Everlasting Snow. I often find myself going back and reading chapters, doodling in my notebooks, and so on and so forth. I'm also constantly finding myself indulging in all things RotG (moreso than usual x3). Not to mention my
obsessioninterest in Jack Frost getting all the stronger. I think it's something to do with the gorgeous, golden-glowing full moon that's been out lately. MiM must be happy. Not to mention, my body temperature is getting increasingly colder as the days pass, and I'm not sick in any way or form, plus I'm noticing more and more things that Jack and I have in common (not to mention that my outward appearance is basically a genderbent version of human Jack). It's fun to go torment people with my exceptionally cold touch. Mwahaha.
GETTING BACK ON TRACK. Because of my missing
May Results and June Challenge: Tea Party! The Theme
This month the theme is Tea Party and we're challenging you to capture something in a Still Life style that fits in with the theme! Tea parties, vintage tea cups and other related bits and pieces are becoming increasingly popular within the Still Life Galleries so there should be lots of inspiration to choose from.
The contest folder opens today and will close on 28th June 2013. Be sure to get your submissions in before the closing date! Judging will commence soon after with winners announced at the beginning of next month with the new challenge! We're tightening up on submissions now and your work will be declined if it doesn't follow our submissions rules!
The Submission folder can be found right Here!

[Recipe Challenge] - No Need to Knead - BreadAnd there we go with our next recipe!
No Need To Knead Bread
Which basically means, no sticky dough on your hands, no complicated instructions or ingredients - just a yummy, self-made bread coming out of your oven, spreading its warm smell in your apartment.
Sounds good, hm? Now that's how this challenge works:
Bake the bread! Then submit your photo to this folder
Deadline for this recipe challenge is 28th of February 2013.
Please use this recipe, although substitutions are accepted and encouraged, as long as the basic idea of this bread is kept.
Recipe can be found on the deviation.

Just STOP!All right everyone, I have HAD IT. I've tried to be patient, logical, and peace-loving, trying to keep dA a happy place, but nothing seems to be working, and I'm fed up with it!
I seriously can't even write a chapter of my fanfiction, all of this hatred and backtalk and arguing and such is just so discouraging!!! It isn't even that I may have to change the preview image, it's the war that has been started!!!!!
For one, I feel harassed. And I'm sure people on the other side have similar feelings. But I'm not here to say that right now.
I do not appreciate the hateful and disrespectful comments that I have found on my journal entry and on my fan fiction! From BOTH sides! Let's just leave each other alone, yeah? Arguing only feeds the problem, not resolving it. On top of that, it's childish! Let's be adults here. Opinions on both sides clearly differ way too much, and even for the few compromise-rs that I have found out there aren't being accepted by either side (including myself,
Controversial OpinionsYou know, sometimes having opinions can make you feel like no one else shares your views, especially if your views aren't being widely vocalized around you. Case in point: It's just been announced that J.J.Abrams will be directing Star Wars 7, and the internet is raging with butthurt about how shitty Abrams is, making over abundant lens flare jokes, and bemoaning the reboot of Star Trek in the process.
Thing is... I like J.J.Abrams. I liked LOST (despite it's shitty/rushed ending). I liked Super 8. I liked Cloverfield. I even enjoyed the recent Star Trek reboot and am looking forward to the sequel. I never had a problem with lens flares or noticed them being over used. And I think overall Abrams has made a fairly consistent batch of quality movies, which is a amazing considering how many directors flip flop between great and shitty.
But I can't often come right out and say that sort of thing because when I do I get attacked for having an opinion that runs counter to the vast majority o
Its all a ScamContext
This is another long one, and I apologize but I need to speak my mind. This journal is in response to the "righteously indignant" users making a fuss about me "selling" fanart of copyrighted characters in my recent Adventure Time post. To the person who signed up today just to write a nasty comment on my new Society6 page. To the person who flagged my recent Adventure Time illustration on DA and then proceeded to send me an e-mail about doing it (probably the same person). To the people creating multiple accounts to try and dissuade users from spending their money how they see fit. And to a long list of people who follow everything I do post just to make sure that their negative voice and attitude are the first voices anyone ever sees on all of my work.
It's All A Scam
I'm in an unenviable position. Popular enough to be well known, not popular enough to be making oodles of cash off my stuff. Part of that is my own fault for not really promoting and selling myself,
Hello....thar....Okay so I haven't updated in a while...a long while... I actually haven't drawn in ages either...Its too hot here and I've been so busy T3T I can only draw when I'm nice and comfy and I hate the heat! Which doesn't really make sense since I kinda came from a very very hot place. Oh well...
If you have any cool ideas? pass them my way if you like I'm always keen for drawing ideas!
OH MY GOD... NinjaKato account was hacked!!! :CMy NinjaKato account was hacked... and some fucker deactivated it!
It was NOT ME.
Guys... I don't know what the hell happened.
Oh wait... yes I do.
Someone posted a "This was stolen from [link]" on my latest image -- http://ninjakato.deviantart.com/art/Some-days-you-just-don-t-want-to-wake-up-339562224 (the image has been stored but the link should suffice) and I clicked the link because it was a link to a DeviantART page... it sent me to the log in page... next thing I know... my account is deactivated... and it's saying I have the verify my email address as email@example.com (I don't remember the email address exactly).
It seriously happened so fast there was no time to investigate further...
The first account was a bait account (sending out the message of accusatory theft to get the person's attention) then the second [link] account is the actual phishing account.
It pulls some switch-er-oo and next thing you know your account is deactivated and you're left having t
Thank you and Merry ChristmasHey!
I just wanted to say thank you for the awesome almost 3 1/2 years here on dA. Deviantart has truely become a part of my life, which I don't want to miss. You guys actually showed me, that I can achieve something with my passion, which has always been art, since I can remember. I appreciate everyone of you, my watchers, so much and I cannot believe there are actually almost 30,000 of you now. It is just incredible and unbelievable! And I reached the 400,000 pageviews today, which is also a huge milestone for me. Thank you for everything! You make my dreams become true!
And also a merry Christmas to everyone of you! I hope you have a great time with your beloved ones and enjoy the atmosphere of these wonderful days! May your wishes come true!
You Were Not An Aquarium BoySea-glass became your bones,
brine your blood, and seashells
melded into your skin.
You were not quite an ocean
when you said "This is your sign to love me."
My body was like a building;
tall, cold, almost unbreakable.
I was metallic and sharp,
towering over your waters.
I remember taking your hand in mine,
conch and coral shells scrubbing
my skyscraper wrists, and laughing
about how one day you would
submerge every last bit of me.
Your lips, riddled with argonauts,
found my cheek and I cringed
at the coarseness.
You asked if they bothered me
and I finally told you "I
think I love you."
